| A: | Elsie's Cottage is located 45 miles north of the Twin Cities, close to North Branch, Minnesota. | |
| Q: | Is the Cottage just for scrapbooking? | |
| A: | No! The cottage welcomes quilters, beaders, artists, scrappers, knitters, card makers, all other crafters, business groups, seminars, religious groups or any group looking for a getaway. The cottage's generous workroom and tables can be configured to meet the needs of most any group. | |
| Q: | How much space is there for each person to work? | |
| A: | Each person has their own 3’ X 5’ table, and an adjustable chair for their comfort. | |
| Q: | When is check-in/check-out? | |
| A: | Weekend guests may check-in at 12:00 on Friday and check-out is 5 pm on Sunday. Please feel free to call if your group would prefer different check-in or check-out times – often, there is some flexibility | |
| Q: | What are the accommodations? | |
| A: | There are six large bedrooms that comfortably sleep a maximum of 14 people. Four bedrooms have 2 twin beds each. Two bedrooms have 3 twin beds each. There are no bunk beds. There are 4 bathrooms, a large main floor craft room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a relaxing space on the lower level with TV, DVD player, table & chairs, books, games, etc. The main floor has a bedroom, with full bath and a half bath. There are only two steps into the cottage. | |
| Q: | What tools are available to use at Elsie's Cottage? | |
| A: | There are many tools including a computer and printer, free Wi-Fi, a Cricut Expression, cutters, decorative scissors, Quick-cuts system, ironing pads, cutting table etc. If you are looking for something specific, please contact us. | |
| Q: | I’d like to visit Elsie's Cottage, but I only know a few people who craft, what are my options? | |
| A: | Although the majority of our bookings are to one person/coordinator who plans the getaway with her friends or clients, there is an option for small groups who would like to visit Elsie's Cottage. | |
